Taking its name from its site by the original ice house, the Ice House Lodge and Condos is the best place to call home in Telluride. Only a block from the main Gondola, and near all the great restaurants and shops of the REAL Town, you will enjoy the true atmosphere of Telluride. The Ice House Lodge is a boutique hotel with an old fashioned emphasis on comfort and service. Casual yet sophisticated, it consists of 22 elegantly furnished rooms and suites and 16 two and three bedroom condominiums. Amenities include an indoor-outdoor pool, steam room and Jacuzzi, an après ski bar and a FREE deluxe continental breakfast served in the sky-lit mezzanine. The Ice House combines the services of a hotel with the intimacy of a lodge. It is also adjacent to La Marmotte, Telluride’s finest restaurant, which provides room service to the hotel.

If you have energy left after your day on the slopes and your hot tub at the hotel, you may want to explore the quaint main street shops, bars, and restaurants, located in the many historic buildings. Or you can take the gondola to the Mountain Village to visit the restaurants located there. The ride up and back is free at night and the view at night is spectacular. One of the best restaurants is located in the gondola station at the top overlooking the town in the valley!
Air transportation for this trip is one stop on a good schedule from Tampa to Montrose. The ride from Montrose to Telluride is only 67 miles and the scenery will make you sorry the ride is over.
