The fun starts at Tampa International Airport for the skiers on this trip! Experienced trip leaders, Debi Oakes and Judy Page-Lieberman, will meet the travelers to assist with check in. You will be flying into Reno with only 1 stop. Reno is just 62 miles from Tahoe. Your Luxury charter motor coaches will transport the group direct to our hotel in Lake Tahoe. There will be time to pick up rental equipment (the shop is in the hotel!) before the orientation party. Skiers will be ready to make "first tracks" on Sunday morning!

Our hotel is located in the center of all the action in Lake Tahoe. Other large casinos are within a few blocks of our hotel so you can visit all of them for entertainment, food and gaming.
THE HEAVENLY SKI AREA offers a huge 4800 acre mountain that spans two states! There is a new lift that transports skiers from the downtown area directly to the Mountain! 25 lifts at the mountain and over a hundred trails help eliminate lift lines. From steep and deep to gentle trails and slow lifts for beginners, there will be plenty of action to keep all types of skiers happy! Beginner and intermediate skiers will be glad to know that many of the best blue and green runs are at the top of the mountain. Everyone can enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding peaks. Whether you are a beginner or expert skier, or if you want to try snowboarding, the Ski School at Heavenly can help you to become the best you can be.
New this year is the NorthStar at Tahoe ski area now included in the Heavenly lift ticket! This adds 3000 more acres, 19 lifts and 93 more trails to Heavenly’s already world class acerage!
One of the all time great side trips is to Squaw Valley! The group plans to have bus transportation to ski at Squaw Valley then return on the Paddle Wheel Steamer, the Tahoe Queen. Everybody parties all the way home! (Note: this excursion will depend on boat availability, otherwise we go by bus in both directions).
The LAKE TAHOE area features some of the best scenery in the world. The blue lake, the surrounding mountains covered with evergreen trees, snow covered peaks and the startling blue sky form a post card view in all directions. The community covers two states with the gambling all on the Nevada side. There is plenty of shopping and entertainment for non-skiers as well as the gambling. Snowmobiling, cross country skiing and other winter sports are readily available. Headliner entertainment is featured at several casinos.
This trip is fully escorted to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable. Debi and Judy are experienced leaders and know the area well. They will be there to make your stay fun and hassle free. Debi and Judy will also assist with Group lift tickets, rental equipment and also plan social activities just for you. Send in your deposit as soon as possible because space is limited.
