Full Day Tour: Colonial City Tour Plus Middle of the World
Plus Lunch
Quito was the first UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage site declared
in 1978. It displays the largest colonial town of the Americas
with an eclectic architecture ranging from the modern quarters
to varied colonial facades on churches and private residences
decorated and balconies built along the last five centuries.
See the gothic Basilica del Voto Nacional and the Independence
Square flanked by the Presidential and the Archbishop’s palaces
dated back to XVII and XIX centuries. Share the spirit of Quito
by walking to the Metropolitan Cathedral with excellent samples
of the Spanish Renaissance. Visit the so-called street of the
Seven Crosses and pass by the Jesuit convent, El Sagrario church
with a unique orthodox cross lay outdated back to the seventeenth
century and the jewel of the crown. Visit the Jesuit temple
of the baroque art La Compañía de Jesús, and the jewel of the
crown of the colonial architecture in Quito, continue to the
Plaza of San Francisco which is a temple and convent, displaying
a rich sample of artistic and cultural heritage.
After a typical lunch, we head approximately 11 miles (18 Km.)
north of the city to arrive at the Middle of the World Complex
which holds the Equator Monument situated at 0º0’0” latitude.
In the eighteenth century, the French Geodesic Expedition erected
one of three pyramids, as landmarks, to commemorate their calculation
of the middle of the Earth. The complex replicates the Spanish
colonial architecture with a typical central plaza, a church,
and bull-fighting ring.

DAY 3 - Wednesday, Jan 27, 2027:

Full Day Tour: OTAVALO INDIGENOUS MARKET & SURROUNDINGS
Departing north from Quito, travel through the scenic valleys
of Guayllabamba and Cayambe, surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes.
After approximately two hours, arrive in Imbabura Province.
Visit the famous indigenous Otavalo open-market and wander around
various stands set in the central square. There, you will be
able to shop from various options of hand-made textiles, wooden
decorations, andean musical instruments, hats, jewelry, and
a variety of local souvenirs.
This tour will take us to one of the rose plantations of the
region. Delight your senses in observation of the process of
rose producing activity, from the hoop houses to the post-harvest
rooms. Our guide will take you to visit the nearest town called
Peguche which is known for its weavers and then visit a workshop
of wind instruments. Followed by it, we will continue to visit
Cotacachi village, where its residents are skilled manufacturers
of leather goods, and then we will head to the crater lake Cuicocha
which will amaze guests with its beautiful setting.

The Galapagos Legend, an exceptional expedition ship with a
capacity for 100 guests, embodies the charm of the Enchanted
Islands. While it's large enough to host a significant number
of passengers, it maintains an intimate atmosphere for a more
personal experience. All cabins have sea views, making it suitable
for special tours, incentives, weddings, and small congresses.
This ship features three different decks, offering a variety
of spacious social areas and ample capacity for events. Its
open decks are perfect for admiring the islands' flora and fauna,
enjoying a night BBQ, or relaxing by the pool. Additional amenities
include a gym, Jacuzzi, bar areas, and a massage room. There's
also a spacious auditorium and launch for conferences.
Each day aboard the Galapagos Legend offers two unique excursions
to different locations, allowing guests to wake up to idyllic
landscapes followed by a buffet-style breakfast. The islands
and visitor sites provide diverse geographical landscapes, fauna,
and flora. Wildlife encounters include blue-footed boobies,
sunbathing sea lions, and penguins during snorkeling activities.
After exploring, guests return to the ship for a varied lunch
buffet and relaxation time by the pool, sun terraces, or Jacuzzi.
Excursions are led by Galapagos naturalist experts, providing
insights into geology, evolution, human history, and biology.
Guests can hike through natural paths, have close encounters
with local wildlife, and enjoy water activities like snorkeling,
kayaking, or glass-bottom boat adventures. There are options
for soft and middle-intensity activities at all sites. Dinners
on board feature local and international specialties, with a
special meal planned on the highest deck for dining under the
